Guest Lecture on
"Man Power Vs Mind Power"

A special meeting for all the students and staff of Paavai Institutions was organized on 25.02.2011 with a view to get introduced and exposed to the power of mind. Dr.C.Kumarababu, Retd Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Stanley Medical College, Chennai was the chief guest.

Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he said that if mind is used in accurate and precious way success is assured. As food is used to strengthen our body, a few attributes like controlling anger, meditation, etc will strengthen our mind.

The Chief Guest, in his keynote address, said that success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal, which is an incremental progress. The goal should be fixed appropriately and must know the difference between where you are and where you want to be. Every action gives corresponding registration in brain. SMART can be expanded as Specific, Measurable, Action oriented, Realistic and Time bound, so any goal should be accomplished by SMART. You students should never stop trying once you stop trying then it is failure. Use your brain power effectively and wisely. Focus your time and energy and utilize them after finding out what is important in your life.

In the end of his speech he gave appropriate and convincing answers to the queries raised by the students. Vote of thanks was proposed by Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Institutions.
