SUHAS GOPINATH AT PAAVAI
SUCCESS A HABIT

A special meeting for all the students and staff of Paavai Institutions was organized on 20.01.2011 with a view to get introduced and exposed to the aggressive and innovative insights of guest personalities and their amazing achievements. Mr.Suhas Gopinath of Bangalore the youngest CEO in the world, was the chief guest. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions welcomed and introduced the chief guest.

Mr.Suhas Gopinath gave an interesting and inspiring speech on the topic "Success A Habit" quoting many events and anecdotes from his own personal life and experience. He spoke about a few hurdles that he met with in the initial stage, like not having a home-computer, getting frustrated over mapping one's talent with age and academic qualification, etc., and explained how he overcame those hurdles by positive thinking. He said, "If you start fearing the failures nothing will succeed and so be prepared to face the failures and hurdles and convert the hurdles into opportunities. If you have passion for work you can achieve anything and do wonders".

As a creator and designer of websites himself, Mr.Suhas Gopinath pointed out that one should not give importance to the university marks or grades but to the individual talent of a person. He told that he was not a competitor to the MNCs like Infosys, Wipro, etc., but his interest was on innovative thinking which would help promote the welfare of the society. He has designed software for 'taking attendance' which would be made known to the parents then and there and for identifying 'fake medicine' which could be a real service to the society. By innovation he did not mean sending a rocket to space but to create something new for the upliftment of the society.

In the end of his speech he gave appropriate and convincing answers to the queries raised by the students. He reminisced his 15 minutes meeting with Bill Gates and he said he was very much impressed by his statement "Past is the thief and if you allow it, it will steal your future".
