64th republic Day Celebration

On behalf of Paavai Educational Institutions, the 64th Republic Day of our Nation was celebrated in a colourful and grand manner. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, hoisted the National Flag and accepted the guard of honour march past by Paavai students.
The Chairman, in his Republic Day speech, said that before 63 years, India got freedom and all Indians were proud of the same. After independence in the year 1947, the process of governing oneself through law and order got enshrined in our constitution in the year 1950. That exactly is the difference between Independence day and Republic Day. India achieved the right to emerge as a free, democratic nation only after the execution of the Indian constitution.
India is the world largest democratic nation. All the Indians are proud of their culture, heredity and integrity. He also added that the scientists like Aryabatta, Baskara , had contributed so much to the growth of India. Even today, the world speaks about their discoveries. Indians do not like to fight or create problems with other nations. India believes in peace and amicable settlements. The citizens of India should realize this and work towards its cherished goal of unity in diversity.
As gesture of gratitude and appreciation, certificates for the students who donated blood, and those who participate and won in the competitions held in connection with World Aids Day and Youth week celebration, were issued by Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Shri.T.R.Manisekaran, Vice Chairman, Shri.T.R.Palanivel, Secretary, Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Shri.K.Senthil, Director-Admissions, Prof.K.K.Ramasamy, Director-Administration, Mr.S.Srinivasan, Director (P&T). Deans and Principals, COE's, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff and students participated in the celebration. This function ended with the National Anthem.
