12th Annual Day Celebration
Paavai Institutions celebrated its 12th annual day on 16th March 2013 in Yuva Shetra on Paavai campus in a grand and gala manner. Shri. CA.N.V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function and welcomed the gathering.
Shri. Gnani, Tamil writer, Journalist, Theatre Person, Film Maker, was the chief guest of the function. In his keynote address, he said that the mother tongue plays a vital role in learning other languages. He also spoke about the lapses in the present grade-oriented, mark-based, educational system where there is hardly any room for interpersonal relationships. Therefore, he supported theatre activities, reading of books and sharing of ideas in order to promote team spirit, friendliness, social awareness in the real sense of the world. It was his opinion that the future of a corruption-free India is in the hands of the present youth who have to safeguard one's culture, inheritance and values. In the attempt, he reiterated that the family structure plays an important role in the respecting each sex. The male should be taught to mutually respect every one even at their early stage. A right thinking and positive attitude will bring laurels to oneself, family, institution and society.
